Last Thursday Birmingham was abuzz with the opening of the Jewellery Quarter’s Pasta Di Piazza’s newly renovated upstairs restaurant. Big Cat’s PR and Marketing teams have been working closely together to help build excitement for the media launch and ensure that the restaurant would be filled with happy customers. A number of different eDMs were sent out during the week leading up to the launch, with amazing food and drink offers available, including 21% off the bill to coincide with the restaurant’s 21st birthday celebrations this month. The Big Cat PR team assisted in pulling together a table of 20 local press and bloggers to join in the huge Italian-style family feast. A number of influential Midland’s press attended to see the new £400,000 renovation, including Journalists from The Birmingham Mail, Style Birmingham and Citylicious. The table was dressed to the nines in honour of the special occasion, with flower arrangements and candelabras, along with the usual covering of flowers on the exterior of Pasta Di Piazza – all of which received many positive comments throughout the evening!

Pasta Di Piazza in the Jewellery Quarter

With food and wine flowing the evening was an amazing success.

Pasta Di Piazza Restaurant

We are looking forward to continuing work with our Jewellery Quarter neighbours Pasta Di Piazza and her sister restaurant, Cucina Rustica in the coming months and to continue building on the success of the recent media launch.
