This month, we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with one of the UK’s leading music and arts development agencies, Punch. Big Cat Group have been given the exciting task of helping Punch to develop and implement a CSR driven business development plan which will assist in the continual growth of their business.

Punch already design and deliver a wide range of creative programming and training, from seminars to festivals. Successes include the BASS festival, the UK’s only Black music festival commissioning new work every year. Born out of a record shop in 1997, Punch’s current portfolio of work includes bespoke training to help young people into the creative sector and visual arts tours to London, Edinburgh and New York.

Punch has appointed us to assist them in breaking into the Corporate Social Responsibility realm within the professional services industry. The brokering will enable Punch to offer further educational services, to audiences it may not have been able to reach before, due to budgets and barriers to market entry.

In addition to this, Big Cat will also be providing PR support for a number of its key programmes including the recently launched Music Potential Scheme which enables 16-25 year olds to gain hands on experience within the creative industry as well as transferable employability skills.

Our MD, Anthony Tattum said: “Over its 15 years experience, Punch Records has delivered a range of exceptional programmes which have helped thousands of young people develop the skills needed to enter the job market.

“It is no secret that organisations within the third sector have to diversify and find sustainable means of surviving in these tough economic times. Many charities and foundations have failed at this task and as such have ceased to exist.

“Our plan is to assist Punch in brokering into new markets, in particular the corporate and professional services markets. Through this, they will continue to deliver innovative and exciting programmes that will enhance the employability of young people across the country.”
