This week we’re getting to know Marv Robson, our Senior Designer. Marv is an exciting addition to the Big Cat brood, bringing an abundance of experience to the design team having worked on big name brands such as Jack Daniels and Virgin Media to name a few. He also brings an international background to the team, having lived in Australia for a few years working at an agency in addition to freelance work.
So let’s get to know a little bit more about Marv!
Tell us about an exciting piece of work you’ve been working on…
Recently I have been developing the brand identity for John Taylor Hospice, being such a virtuous organisation I have enjoyed the process of reflecting this through engaging vivid patterns.
What music have you been listening to recently?
I can’t get enough of the official release of Jamie XX – “Sleep Sound”, as it was a massive tune from his Radio 6 mix last year.
Also Aloe Blacc’s new record – “The Man”, has for some reason struck a relatable chord with me.
Share something inspiring with us…
Words of a wise fool: Give out the love in order to receive the love, no one likes a hater!
What are your interests outside of work?
Having just recently bought my first property, my new hobby seems to be DIY.
This has inspired me to start painting and making things again, I‘m planning to restore old furniture with a slick graphic twist.
Follow our design team’s blog to see some of the projects they are working on, and exciting new trends in the industry, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on how we can create designs for your company.
