With Christmas fast approaching and 2016 just around the corner, we thought we’d share some of the best bits from our sister company, event production agency, The Fair’s 2015 season…Enjoy! #fairontour
To kick off the summer, we took a trip to Estonia to help TransferWise break a Guinness World Record for the Largest Human Currency Symbol. Supporting our sister agency, House Of Experience, we provided site plans for people placement, liaison with the on-site venue production team and worked closely with the adjudicator from GWR to ensure all of the criteria required to achieve the record was met. Consider that a World Record broken!
We set off to Birmingham to return home for the second year to one of our favourite eclectic three-day camping festivals of the summer, Lunar Festival. The site was bigger and better this year and a successful show all round. Oh, and there was a flaming bird thrown in just for good measure…
Proud to be a part of the 6th year Mostly Jazz Festival, this year proved to be one of the best so far. Working together on production, bar management and Health and Safety management on site, we still found a spare moment to enjoy the laid back atmosphere featuring the best Jazz, Funk and Soul music around including wicked performances from Public Enemy, Roy Ayers, Gregory Porter and Mostly Jazz favorite Craig Charles.
Celebrating the best of Nordic Noir and beyond, The Fair successfully produced Nordicana at the iconic Troxy in London. The festival included leading stars from Swedish and Danish TV dramas such as The Killing, The Bridge, Borgen and more. Managing intimate signing sessions, preview screenings and live Q&A’s, we were excited to be a part of our first Nordicana and hope to see you again next year!
A 2 day festival weekender to remember – over 18,000 excited revellers enjoyed the sun as they danced to new and, of course, old school Garage anthems on Streatham Common.
Looking back at the incredible images, we’re very proud to have fully produced the first Garage Nation Festival and hope for even bigger and better sell-out years ahead!
For the 2nd year running we returned to the iconic Wembley Stadium to produce one of our most colourful events of the summer, Holi One. An audience of 8000 joined together in white outfits to enjoy great music, food and of course to throw brightly coloured powder over each other!
Following on from the success of Mostly Jazz Festival, we headed back up to Birmingham to the picturesque Moseley Park for the 10th Anniversary of Moseley Folk Festival. With a sold-out and busy show, we still managed to take a small break to enjoy the sun and the laid back atmosphere at one of our favourite regional festivals.
Just over 21,000 excited revelers enjoyed a combination of music genres over the two day festival weekend including standout performances from Armand Van Helden’s classic 90’s set to JME and Skepta’s mind blowing performance. Needless to say, this was one weekend we will never forget!
Part of the wider Birmingham Weekender, the event received extensive positive feedback and we even had the privilege to be the first agency to broadcast content on the new digital eyes.
Taking place in two major shopping centres in London, we assisted with stand production and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of the project.
Hmm, now what to confess to..?
Taking over London with one of the city’s biggest parties, London Cocktail Week returned for their sixth year running with parties, pop-ups, £5 Cocktail Tours and an entire cocktail village at Old Spitalfields Market.
After working on securing the full Premises Licence for the event, we spent a week on site providing H&S management to ensure a safe event for all who were involved and attended the main cocktail village hub.
A week of the best cocktails in London? Who could resist?!
