Big Cat are thrilled to announce further growth to the pride!
Woo hoo! We’ve recently made five new appointments across our different departments following a period of growth from a number of significant new business wins at Big Cat.
We welcome Jayne Surman as our new Marketing Director, Hayley Boulton as Account Manager, and the appointment of three successful interns; Rukhsana Bentley, Hannah Smith and Anna Assinder across the New Business, Design and Marketing departments.
Jayne brings to Big Cat her broad industry experience from working with an array of companies such as West Midlands Fire Service, South Hampton University, London Borough of Hackney, Public Sector Plc, Advantage West Midlands, Dudley Council and the University of Birmingham. At Big Cat Jayne can usually be found tailoring and delivering our marketing strategy whilst giving strategic direction for both Big Cat and our clients.
Hayley Boulton is our new Account Manager. She has had an impressive career in the marketing industry and has worked for top brands such as Halfords, Cancer Research and Cogent Elliott. She brings to Big Cat her International Practitioners in Advertising qualification at distinction level, as well as her friendly nature and extremely strong skills in both account relations and digital media.
As well as Jayne and Hayley, we also welcome the appointment of our three successful interns! Rukhsana joins Big Cat after completing an internship with our Events team. In her time at Big Cat, she developed a unique flair at managing new business acquisitions and these impressive skills led her to secure a client interfacing role where she works closely with our CEO and MD to follow up new business opportunities and manage new business processes.
Hannah Smith, our former Design intern, joins the group as a Graphic Designer just four weeks into her internship having impressed with her ability to engage with client preferences, her creative finesse and enthusiasm. Hannah has recently graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in Graphic Communication (specialising in typography).
And last but not least, Anna Assinder has been appointed as Big Cat’s new Marketing Account Executive after completing two months as a Marketing Communications Intern. During her internship Anna developed skills across both Marketing and PR, and also supported the Events and new business teams in the process. She has recently graduated from the University of Nottingham in Management Studies and brings to the role skills in communications, digital marketing and industry awareness.
Our CEO commented; “Big Cat are extremely pleased to be welcoming these new recruits across our different departments as we continue to win new business across a variety of sectors. Their appointments come at a time when it was necessary to take on new staff to complement our current skills set and expand our client offering”.
