Marketing & PR Campaign

Big Cat delivered a Marketing & PR campaign for the Birmingham Made Me Exhibition, celebrating greater Birmingham’s manufacturing and creative heritage.

Objective

• To raise awareness of the exhibition, Idea Birmingham and Birmingham City University.
• To deliver an integrated PR & marketing campaign to all relevant target audiences across multiple sectors.
• To manage and execute the social media and content.
• Develop and manage the exhibitions key messages across different channels.

Delivery

• Produced a variety of marketing materials to promote the exhibition including e-newsletters and printed marketing materials.
• Regular updates of the website, press and social media channels with announcements and programme highlights.
• Identified audiences for each session of the exhibition and a strategy to target them.
• Maximised press opportunities to promote the exhibition on a regional and national level.

Results

• Two and a half weeks of sold out seminars and talks.
• 247% in @ideabirmingham followers.
• Press coverage about the event and its stakeholders achieved across regional and national media.
